You May Be Wasting About 7 Hours A Week…
On my commute to work this morning I began utilizing my time more wisely. Instead of staring blankly into space I made a priority list for my work day. My commute is a total of 45 minutes one way, which is 90 minutes a day which equals an astounding 7 ½ hours a week!
Once I recognized how valuable my time is, I started prioritizing my day before arriving at work. Now my days are more productive, successful, and organized!
Other ways to make the most of your commute time:
- Download a language program and learn a new language
- Draft emails to friends and/or co-workers
- Read a book, newspaper, magazine
- Stay updated with current events by downloading news Podcasts
- Make a holiday shopping/wish list!
Make the most of your commute by committing to something. I’ve always wanted to learn Spanish – with 7 ½ hours a week spent on studying, listening, and reviewing I will be conversational before I know it. And bi-lingual looks great on a resume!
