What I love about this blog is the attention and focus on “personal branding.” This is especially important when you’re looking for a job.  Little do you know, recruiters, like us, are looking for you when you’re not even looking for work! That’s what we do!

All we have to do is “google” your name, find you on LinkedIn, Facebook and make a decision before even meeting you! Scary right?

You can update yourself and begin the branding process by going to sites like ZoomInfo and Google Profiles.  The sites ask you to fill in some basic information about yourself – bio, jobs, school, location, interests.  When recruiters, potential bosses, and even your current managers search for you – a nice description of your past success and future goals will pop up.
